When the Sun Found Us

 Morning.

One of those lazy ones... so lazy that even the sun seemed to oversleep. 🌄

I was half-awake, fighting with sleep, when a sudden ray of sunlight slipped through the curtains and hit my face. ☀️
I groaned, annoyed—
until I opened my eyes...

And saw you.

Sleeping like a baby.
In my arms.
Your breath warm against my chest.

A tiny droplet of water from the window slid down and kissed your cheek.
That made me jealous.
How dare a water drop touch you before me?

So I gently brushed it away...
and in that stupid, childish moment,
I declared you mine. ❤️

When my lips touched your forehead,
you slowly woke up—
and that's when I remembered
exactly why I fell for you.

Those eyes.
Oh God...
those eyes.

The way they opened, soft and sleepy,
yet deep enough to hold an entire ocean.
Sometimes I wonder—
maybe there aren't four oceans in the world.
Maybe the fifth one
is hidden in your eyes.

You wrapped your arms around me,
still half-asleep,
and pulled me closer.

In that moment,
I begged God like a child,
"Please... stop time. Please just let this morning last forever."

He didn't stop time.
But maybe He did something better—
He made that moment happen again...
and again...
every morning, I woke up beside you.
